Terms of Use

By creating an account or using Kin Chat Cloud for Families, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These Terms apply in addition to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not use Kin Chat Cloud to post or share content that:

• harasses, bullies, threatens, or intimidates anyone;
• is sexually explicit, or sexualizes minors in any way;
• promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity;
• is hateful or discriminatory;
• is spam, a scam, or impersonates someone else;
• violates someone's privacy or intellectual property.

We review reports within 24 hours. We may remove content and suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

Reporting and blocking

Long-press any message to report it or to block its sender. You can manage blocked users in Settings > Blocked Users. You can also contact us at matthewhon@honfamily.com.

Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device and recovery phrase secure. A parent or guardian must set up or approve accounts for children and is responsible for their use of the app.

Emergency SOS is not an emergency service

The Emergency SOS feature only notifies members of your family in the app. It does not contact police, fire, medical, or other emergency services, and delivery of alerts and location is not guaranteed. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the US).

Your content

You keep ownership of what you share. You give us permission to store and transmit it only as needed to operate the app for you and the people you share it with.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or end access for anyone who violates these Terms.
